The Gifts of Winter Workshop at Locust Nature Center

Join us for our third outdoor workshop celebrating and exploring the “gifts” of the seasons, as defined by ancient healing traditions. The calm and quiet of winter calls us to slow down and listen to our inner voice. Since the gifts of winter stand in contrast to one of the busiest times of the year for most of us, we will come together to intentionally create a clearing in the dense forest of our lives through guided and silent meditation, journaling, and group sharing.
Winter offers us an opportunity to gather our reserves of power and will in order to germinate seeds of potential and possibility.
This workshop will include:
- A mindful hike (~ 1 mile)
- Sitting by the fire ring under the beautiful sycamore tree at the Locust Grove Nature Center
- Drinking hot chocolate and eating s’mores

Find Us: Look for the Locust Grove Nature Center sign & entrance. If you are looking at the tennis center, the entrance and sign is all the way to the right (also close to the parking lot entrance from Democracy). Meet at the bridge – we will walk the group to the workshop location.
Parking: Free and ample parking in the Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center lot.
