Linda is passionate about working with clients of all ages to support them in living their best and most blissful life. As a certified Mindfulness Meditation teacher and Life Coach through the Maryland University of Integrative Health, Linda loves creating and offering fun, effective, and focused programs for individuals and groups that combine research-proven techniques with ancient traditions from around the world. Linda has experienced the tremendous power of mindfulness training in her own life and is grateful to be able to share this with her clients. Linda has over 20 years of clinical research experience, a Master’s degree in Public Health, and a BA in Psychology.
Linda developed a deep appreciation for Tara Brach’s teachings and the practice of mindfulness in 2009 during her father’s terminal illness and later, working through her own depression after his death. She has since participated in numerous mindfulness courses, programs and retreats guided by teachers including Tara, Jonathan Foust, Jack Kornfield, and La Sarmiento.
Linda is the founder of Rooted In Bliss, where she offers private coaching, mindfulness, reiki, and yoga sessions. She is also Level I iRest certified, a certified .b mindfulness teacher and an affiliate teacher of the Insight Meditation Community of Washington.
As an Iranian-American, Linda has studied Rumi and Hafiz in both Persian and English and loves sharing their poetry in her weekly mindfulness classes at Flow Yoga Center, extendYoga, Equinox, and with children and adolescents through MINDS and The Village Youth.
