Meditation, Reflection, Visualization and Journaling

Drop-In Mindfulness Meditation Session

Insight meditation cultivates our natural wisdom and compassion. Meditation practice develops concentration, which allows us to calm and steady the mind. This class includes a 30-minute guided meditation, a dharma (teaching) talk of 30-45 minutes, and time for sharing and discussion. The teachers share teaching responsibilities and each teach about once a month. No registration is necessary. Mindful Movement Class

Optional mindful movement classes are held each week before Tara Brach’s Wednesday night drop-in mediation class. Mindful movement sessions are held in the Fireside room at River Road Unitarian, and are led by guest teachers each week. Mats are not provided so please bring one and any other material you might need for the session.
