Meets Four Saturdays
Mindfulness is an approach for training the mind, similar to the way that fitness is an approach for training the body. In this 4-week series you will learn and practice techniques and applicable skills of mindfulness that you can use right away to invite more ease and clarity into your life.
Each participant will:
•Receive a course workbook containing selected readings, practical exercises, and list of recommended resources
•Practice mindfulness and meditation
•Learn about and experience the evidence based benefits of mindfulness meditation
•Commit to a short daily mindfulness practice for the duration of the course
•Receive guided meditation recordings to use outside of class
Chairs, sitting cushions, blankets, and other props will be provided. We suggest that whenever possible you wear or bring comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
