Drop-In Mindfulness Meditation Session

This class will introduce the practice of mindfulness meditation and give an overview of helpful means for working with thoughts, opening to difficult emotions, developing wisdom and deepening compassion.
This class consists of guided meditation, a dharma (teaching) talk, opportunities for practice, mindful movement, and discussion. There will also be in-between-class practices to deepen our practice each week. No prior meditation experience is necessary.
No registration is necessary. Each class stands alone and attendance at one class does not require attendance at the others – however, the fullest integration will be achieved by attending each of the sessions.
Newcomers to meditation and long time practitioners are welcome to attend IMCW classes. Chairs are always provided or you may bring your sitting gear.
This venue is accessible for those with mobility impairments.
